I'm Dan. I've been wiring homes, rentals and businesses across South Devon since 2011, and you deal with me from the first phone call to the certificate landing in your inbox.
Most electricians make you ring up to find out. I'd rather you knew roughly where you stand before you pick up the phone.
Fixed price by property size — £195 for a one bedroom, £245 for two, £295 for three, £345 for four. You know the cost before I arrive.
EICR prices and what's includedFully installed, tested and certified. Ohme, Hypervolt, Sync Energy and ICS units, tethered or socketed.
Compare chargers and pricesEvery board is different. I'll look at what you've got, tell you what it needs and put the figure in writing.
About fuseboard upgradesGuide prices for typical installations. Your written quote is fixed once I've seen the job — there are no surprises added at the end.
Old rewireable fuses or a board with no RCD protection? I replace consumer units in homes, rentals and commercial premises across Newton Abbot, Exeter, Torquay and Teignmouth, and certify the work.
New car on the drive, or planning ahead? I'll talk you through tethered versus socketed, cable reach and smart tariffs, then install and certify it properly.
For homeowners, landlords, holiday lets and businesses. A proper inspection, coded observations, and a written report that explains what the codes actually mean.
See everything I do — from a single socket to a full rewire — or have a look at recent jobs I've finished. Small jobs are genuinely welcome.
Six units I install regularly, all fully installed, tested and certified. Have a look at what suits your driveway, then call me.

If you're a landlord, letting agent or business weighing up who to use, I've put everything into a six-page brochure — what I do, what an EICR covers, and how to get hold of me.
Nobody enjoys chasing a tradesman. Here's exactly how a job runs with me.
Tell me what's going on. If I'm up a ladder I'll ring you back the same day.
A clear price by email. No verbal figures you can't hold me to.
You get a confirmation and automatic reminders before the appointment.
On the day you get a notification when I'm on my way, so you're not sat waiting.
The work is tested, certified and your paperwork arrives in your inbox.
You're dealing with the electrician, not a call centre. I started A.M Electrics in 2011 and I still do the work myself. That means the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to it, and the person you ring afterwards if you've got a question about it.
Nathan looks after enquiries, bookings and keeping you in the loop, so you're never left wondering whether your message got through.

Based on Queen Street in Newton Abbot and covering South Devon — usually with you within a day or two.
It's a fixed price based on the size of the property, so you know the figure before I turn up. One bedroom is £195 + VAT, two bedroom £245, three bedroom £295 and four bedroom £345. Larger properties, or anything over twenty circuits, I'll quote for. Full details of what's included are on the EICR page.
Most home installations land between £900 and £1,400 plus VAT, depending on the charger and the run of cable. That's the installed price — unit, labour, testing and certification. Cable length, your existing consumer unit, the available supply and any groundworks are what move the figure, and I'll tell you which apply before you commit.
Yes, and I mean it — a single socket, a light that won't work, a bathroom fan. Plenty of electricians won't. Here's why I do.
I'm NAPIT registered, which means my work is notified and certified to the current Wiring Regulations, and I carry full public liability insurance. Ask to see either and I'll send them over.
For most jobs across Newton Abbot and South Devon it's a day or two. If you've lost power or something's unsafe, ring me rather than emailing and I'll do what I can that day.
Tell me what's going on and I'll give you an honest answer about what it needs and what it'll cost. No obligation, no pressure.
